There are stories on forest fires.Forest department is straggling to protect. Before Wildlife protection act implementation Tribals were there in their natural habitat. They used to manage forest fires. Now,all tribal communities have been displaced from their natural habitat,, forests.Forest department is treating tribals as distroyers of forest. They were not allowed to enter forest. Now forest department is alone to protect forest from fire,distroyers. Department staff is ,all alone to protect forest. There are animals attack,forest fires. There is loss of life.
There is Forests Rights Act 2006 to correct historic injustice done to tribals. FRA recognises their Forests Rights.Individual ,community and for PVTG habitat rights.Forest department is not allowing to recognise their rights.Hence forests are not safe under forest department.To protect forets tribals rights be recognised and allow them to live in Forests .Both tribals and department work together to protect forests.
